  • There is a strict no phone policy for campers. Parents are encouraged to talk with their child(ren) and consider leaving phones at home. Should a camper be seen with their phone, it will be taken away by the Camp Director and returned at the end of camp. If a child needs to use a phone during the week, this will be arranged with the camp director.

  • Counsellors may bring a phone to camp but it must stay in their cabin or in the staff accommodations. Counsellors may use phones during personal time or on breaks. They should be kept out of sight from campers and used for emergencies only.

  • Staff may have their phone on them, in case of emergencies and photo taking. Staff must refrain from using their phones for personal use when participating in camp activities and meals. Staff are encouraged to keep their phones in the Staff House, unless required for their role.

  • There is a strict no photo / video policy. A designated photographer / videographer will take photos / videos as they see fit. These photos / videos are for Stepping Stones Bible Camp’s use alone. They will use the photos for their website, social media, and other advertising platforms. They are not required to share any of the photos taken. Any videos / photos that Stepping Stones chooses to share with counsellors, volunteers, staff, parents and campers are for personal use only and may not be shared online.

  • Parents will sign a photography / videography waiver during their camper’s registration. This provides them the opportunity to allow / disallow Stepping Stones in using images / videos of their children online and for any advertising purposes. Stepping Stones respects these decisions and agrees not to publish any images / videos as requested.

  • Counsellors / Staff will sign a photography / videography waiver during their application.

  • If any media is shared online that does not abide by this policy, then the Camp Director will request for this media to be removed.
